Physicochemical Properties: Pure 1H-1,2,4-triazole appears as white needle-like crystals with a melting point of 120-121°C and decomposition above 220°C. It is highly soluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone and ethyl acetate, and insoluble in chloroform and benzene.
Application Fields: Used as a pharmaceutical intermediate for the production of antifungal drugs such as fluconazole and itraconazole. Also used in the synthesis of highly effective, low-toxicity agricultural fungicides and plant growth regulators, including paclobutrazol, triadimefon, triadimenol, uniconazole, bitertanol, tebuconazole, diclobutrazol, diniconazole, flutriafol, hexaconazole, cyproconazole, propiconazole, flusilazole, fluotrimazole, furconazole, difenoconazole, tetraconazole, metconazole, furfural azole, myclobutanil, conazole, etc.
